Takako K. Laurenti, age 92 of Akron, Ohio, died on September 6, 2021 in Akron.
She was born on November 17, 1928 in Tokyo, Japan.
Mrs. Laurenti was a homemaker and enjoyed working in the yard and knitting. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family. She was the greatest mother, grandmother and great-grandmother in the world and didn't have a selfish bone in her body.
Survivors include her five children, Linda Laurenti, John Paul Laurenti, Anna Laurenti, Michael Laurenti and Paula (John) DiStasi; her grandchildren, Kenneth (Alyson) Holcomb, Sarah Laurenti, Michael Laurenti, Anthony DiStasi, Vincent (Jennifer) DiStasi and Angela DiStasi; her seven great-grandchildren; her two great-great-grandchildren; Her husband's family, Jane Laurenti, Patricia Laurenti, Samuel (Nancy) Laurenti and Ralph Miller; and many nieces and nephews and their families.
Takako was preceded in death by her loving husband, Paul Laurenti; her parents and brother and sister in Japan; and her one grandson, Billy Laurenti and one great-grandson, Ayden Rosales. Also preceded in death were her husband's siblings, Louis (Diana) Laurenti, John Laurenti, Frances (Herman) Prebynski and Linda Miller.
Graveside services will be private and all arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Newcomer Funeral Home, Akron.
