Talma Jean Keener

Talma Jean Keener, age 53 of Akron, Ohio, passed away in her sleep on Wednesday, October 4, 2017 at her home.
Talma was the life of the party, as she loved to joke and dance. She was always willing to help others. Talma was a hairdresser for 30 plus years at Style Hut Beauty Salon.
Survivors include her two children, Nikki and Alex; her sister, Brenda (Jim) Orr and her brother, Jimmy "Bubba" Ballew; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, clients, and friends "fury and otherwise".
Other than her parents, Talma was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald E. Keener.
Funeral services will be held at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 North Canton Road, Akron, on Monday, October 9, 2017 at 1:00 PM where her nephew, Rev. Todd Orr will celebrate Talma's life.
Family and friends may visit at the funeral home on Monday from 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM.
