Tammy Lynn Stinnett

Tammy Lynn Stinnett (Ma) 63, passed away at home peacefully in her sleep Sunday June 11, 2023. Born in Akron, Ohio to William and Geraldine (Day) Stinnett, she was a lifelong area resident. Ma is a beloved mother, grandma, great grandma, sister, aunt, and friend. She is well known for her incredible strength and equal part stubbornness. Daily, she enjoyed multiple trips to acme, calling her great grand-babies, and saying, "Oh Hell Far". Ma liked her steak "burnt", was afraid of birds, and was a proud new member of the Eagles Club #2207.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her spouse Roger Gagnon, and sister Billie Faye Legge. Tammy will be greatly missed by her children, Rowena Taylor, Tommy Stinnett, granddaughters Brittney (William) Stover, Alexis Taylor, the loves of her life, her great grandchildren Kyngston Taylor, Paiton Stover. Her siblings Bryan (Connie) Stinnett, partner in crime Sue (Jon) Boettler, Skeeter (Jean) Stinnett, twin brother Terry Stinnett, Bussy Stinnett, and many nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are invited to visit Monday, June 19, 2023 from 2 to 4 p.m. at Newcomer, Akron Chapel, 131 N. Canton Rd. The funeral service will follow at 4 p.m. at the funeral home.
