Teresa A. Stevens (Nee Monte)

Teresa A. Stevens, age 53 of Uniontown, Ohio, died on April 29, 2017 at her home.
She was born on December 9, 1963 in Akron, the daughter of Joan Zateslo Monte of Akron and the late Anthony Monte.
Teresa was a 1982 graduate of Green High School and obtained an associates degree from the Akron Institute of Medical and Dental Assistance College. She was a medical assistant for Akron General Hospital for many years. Teresa enjoyed music and going to concerts, she was a big Led Zeppelin fan, she enjoyed hiking, traveling, reading, and she was a very holy person in prayer, she heavily relied on saying the rosary everyday.
Teresa was an angel sent from Heaven, she would sacrifice anything to make sure others were happy. She will be greatly missed and there will be a huge void in our lives.
Other than her mother, survivors include her son, Robert B. Wright, Jr. of Orange, CA; her step-son, Nick Stevens of Akron; her siblings, Dominick (Marita) Monte, Mary Uher, and Angela (Randy) Barnhart; her nieces and nephews, Christina (Tyler) Shockey, Joseph Cianciola, Nicole Monte, Tony Monte, Danielle Uher, Tyler Uher, and Timothy Applegate.
Other than her father, Teresa was preceded in death by her husband, William Stevens on January 29, 2017, they were united in marriage on April 29, 2003.
Mass for the repose of the soul of Teresa will be held at 11:00 AM, Friday, May 5, 2017 at Blessed Trinity Parish, 300 East Tallmadge Avenue, Akron, Ohio 44310, where Father Joe Warner will celebrate Teresa's life. Friends and family may gather at the church, one hour prior to the service.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Newcomer Funeral Home-Akron.
