Terry Lee Dunn

Terry L. Dunn, 68, of Akron, went home to be with his Savior Jesus Christ on Saturday, March 16, 2024. He was born on February 23, 1956 to the late Rev. Don and Mary Dunn.

He leaves behind his beloved wife Sue; his only sister Donna; many nieces and nephews; extended family and special friends.

Terry owned and operated Miracle Carpet Cleaning, where customers quickly became friends. In his free time, he enjoyed painting with the Bob Ross technique, and music of all kinds.

His love of music tied into his faith, as he often sung solos at church. He served in various other ways at several churches over the years, most recently at Faith Family Church in Volunteer Central.

Terry had a ready smile, a hearty laugh, and loved to hug. He enjoyed sharing his faith with anyone that would listen.

All are welcome to visit at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Rd. Akron, OH 44305 on Thursday, March 21st from 10:00 a.m. until the funeral service begins at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Jack Pancher officiating. Well-deserved military honors will follow the service at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, where Terry will be laid to rest. In lieu of flowers, donations in Terry's memory are suggested to CUFI (Christians United for Israel).
