Terry D. Moss

Terry D. Moss, 59, of Akron, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on February 7, 2024. He was born on July 30, 1964 in Akron, Ohio to the late William and Betty Moss. Terry graduated from Butchel High School, and went on to Job Core. Over the years, Terry worked in numerous factory jobs, and most recently retired from Shiloh Baptist Church in Akron, Ohio.

Terry enjoyed singing in the choir at Shiloh Baptist Church. He loved fishing, gardening, and working on his cars, but above all, he loved spending time with his family. He was a devoted husband, step-father, and pawpaw.

In addition to his parents, Terry was preceded in death by his brothers, Brian Moss and Timothy; nephew, Ronald Lewis; and best friend, Jessie Miner.

Terry will deeply missed by his wife of 27 years, Stacey Moss; daughters, Alishia (Terrell) Habeeb-Ullah, Aniecha (Jose) Habeeb-Ullah; grandchildren, Ommar, Amir, Nassir, Aaliyah, Eli, and Aiden; siblings, Tracy (Rick) Lewis, Kindall Moss, and Lavelle (Gabrielle) Moss; best friends, Marvin Tyson, and Mike "E-Z"; his Shiloh family; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family.

A memorial service for Terry will take place on Saturday, February 24, 2024 at 12pm at Shiloh Baptist Church 1241 Grant St, Akron, OH 44301, with an hour of visitation prior.
