Terry Lee Muckus, 68, of Kent, passed away January 28, 2022.
Terry was born in Akron, Ohio on March 31, 1953 to George and Ruth (Tasker) Muckus. Terry retired from Zeni Drilling as a welder. He enjoyed hunting, listening to loud music, and drinking cold beer. Terry loved spending time with his friends and family, especially his grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, Terry was preceded in death by brothers, Larry Muckus, and Gary Ash, sister, Marilyn Murphy, nephew, Johnny Murphy, friends, WIlliam "Billy Joe" Kerns, Doug Brown, Robert Lough, and Terry Bechtel.
He will be deeply missed by his loving wife of 38 years, Miriam Muckus; children, Michelle Muckus, Melissa Muckus, and Michael (Kelli) Muckus, 10 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, mother of his children, Roberta (Lewis) Confere, nephew, Ben (Nicole) Murphy and good friend, Jimmy Westfall.
The family would like to say a special thanks to Jerri Huff, Jessica and Jenna Skinner, and Melissa and Michael Muckus for all the love, care and support they gave.
Friends and family may come to call on Wednesday, February 9, 2022 from 4-5 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home in Akron, a memorial service will follow at 5 p.m.
