Terry L. Sims
Terry L. Sims, age 60, passed away on December 21, 2005 after fighting a long, hard battle with cancer. He was a resident of Akron. Terry helped many people in his life and enjoyed every minute of it. He was self employed for many years doing a variety of skilled jobs many of them hands on. He was especially fond of his woodworking. He is preceded in death by his grandparents Ruth and Otis Sims and his brother Robert Sims. Terry is survived by his mother Alice McQuaid; his daughter Terri Blackburn and son David Sims;6 grandchildren;his sister Maria Jones and brothers David, Danny, and Johnny Good. The family would like to extend a special thanks to all the nurses at the Valley View Nursing Home. A memorial service will be held at the New Horizons Christian Church on Thursday, January 5, 2006 at 1:00 p.m. Online condolences can be made at www.newcomerfamily.com
