Terry W. Collins, 67, passed away peacefully in Palm Bay, Florida on June 14, 2010. He was born in Buchtel, Ohio on December 9, 1942. Terry was predeceased by his parents, Ralph and Maude Collins; brother, H. Paul Collins; and sister, Joann Hillyer (Collins). Terry spent most of his life in the Akron area. He proudly served in the U.S. Army 1st Battalion 4th Infantry. He retired from Goodyear Tire and Rubber after 40 years of service. He also loved fishing and hunting. Terry will be dearly missed by his wife of 25 years, Marilyn; children, Michelle D. Graham (Collins) and husband Alan, Melanie Collins, Bob Collins and wife Peggy, April Chamberlain (Morrison) and husband Verrick; grandchildren, Holly and Sara Graham, Desiree and DeAnna Greenwood, Jasmine Montgomery, Brendan T. Collins, Kelly and Cole Collins, Brittney Dye, Robert Morrison, and Jordan Dye; great-grandchildren, Allexys and Frankie Greenwood, Garret Davis; and many more family and friends. Family and friends may call on Monday from 5-8 p.m. at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., where funeral services will be held Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. Interment at Hillside Memorial Park.
