Terry Wayne Johnson

Terry Wayne Johnson, 75, of Akron, passed away on February 22, 2016. He was born in Barberton, OH on March 7, 1940 to the late Jesse and Marion Johnson. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Jerry Johnson; sister, Wanda Mashburn; and beloved daughter, Beth. He is survived by his Wife, Shirley; children, Karen (Eric) Prayner,Sherri Fleming, Jack (Tammy) Battle, Terri Todarello (Chinnough Colburn); grandchildren, Jordan, Joelle, Allison, Emily, Isabelle, Kelly, and Kara; great-grandchildren, Ethan and AJ; and many nieces and nephews. Terry was a member of the Carpenters Union. He loved building and fixing things, especially for his family. He will be deeply missed by everyone who knew him. Family and friends may call on Sunday, February 28, 2016 from 2-5 p.m. at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron, where funeral services will be held on Monday at 12:00 noon with visitation for one hour prior. Interment at Hillside Memorial Park.
