Thaw Yar Mu, 76, of Akron, passed away August 7, 2013 at 10:06 p.m. He was born in Burma on January 1, 1937 and came to the United States in 2007 as a refugee. He attended Blessed Trinity Church.
He will be deeply missed by his wife, Lat Oo; children, Member Yar (Hser Wah), Jimmy Htoo (Sunday Moo), Ehthinyu Paw, Htoo Mya, and Bah Hta; grandchildren, Hsa Ko Ko, Kaung Pi, and Benjamin.
Visitation will be TODAY from 5-7 p.m. at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron. Prayers will be held at the funeral home on Saturday at 9:00 a.m. followed by a 10:00 a.m. Funeral Mass at Blessed Trinity Church, 300 E. Tallmadge Ave, Akron. Interment at Chestnut Hill Memorial Park.
