Thelma May Dupert

Thelma May Dupert, 96, of Lakemore, went home to be with the Lord on January 20, 2019. She was born in Port Clinton, OH on May 16, 1922 to the late George and Goldie Witter. Thelma was also preceded in death by her husband, Clive "Mick" Dupert; daughter, Winona Wilkerson; son, Sherrill "Bud" Shaw; one sister and five brothers. She will be dearly missed by children, Judy Dupert of Lakemore, Patricia (Tommy) Godfrey of North Carolina, and Harold (Diane) Shaw of Mississippi; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. Everyone will miss hearing, "I love you from the top of your head to the soles of your feet!" from Thelma. Visitation will be Tuesday, January 29, 2019 from 12-1 followed by a 1:00 p.m. funeral service at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron. Interment at Hillside Memorial Park.
