Thelma E. Jackson

Thelma E. Jackson, 79, went home to be with the lord on July 19, 2023. She was born on August 6, 1943 in Seth, WV the daughter of the late James and Minnie Runyon. She was a beautiful soul and will be remembered for her warm smile, compassion for animals, and the love she had for her family and friends. She enjoyed working on word searches, bird watching and playing cards. Thelma loved working in her yard and being surrounded by her beautiful flowers. She was known for her delicious baking of chocolate cakes, cookies and her warm apple fritters.
She was preceded in death by her parents; beloved husband, Kenneth Jackson; son James Jackson; brothers James Runyon, Paul Runyon, and Eugene Runyon; and sisters, twin sister Helen Runyon, and Linda Mathie.
Thelma is survived by her loving family, sons Sidney (Angela) Harrison and Glenn Jackson; granddaughter Sydney Harrison; grandson Orion (Sarah) Belmont; siblings Nola Mathney, David (Lisa) Runyon, Mary (George) Aleksin, and Marlene Funk; sister-in-laws Patricia Robertson and Crystal (Tim) Abernathy; her beloved four-legged companion her Boxer Angel; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Private graveside service will be held at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery.
