Theodore R. Scherer "Ted"
Ted Scherer, 58, of Tallmadge, passed away November 10, 2011. Ted was a talented carpenter and enjoyed building birdfeeders. He also enjoyed photography. Above all, he was a loving father, son, brother, and grandfather. Ted was preceded in death by his father, Robert B. Scherer, Sr.; and grandparents, Theodore and Lavinia Webster and Ben and Ina Scherer. He will be deeply missed by his children, Molly (Don) Guisinger and Scott Scherer; mother, Gertrude Scherer; siblings Robert B. (Carolyn) Scherer, Jr., Kathleen (Richard) Green, Lavinia (Joseph) Grecco, Michael (Cynthia) Scherer, Gwendolyn (Michael) Tomaiko, John Scherer, and James (Gemma) Scherer; grandson, Spencer Scherer; and many nieces, nephews, and friends. Visitation will be Monday November 14 from 10-12 followed by a 12 noon funeral service at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd. with Rev. Barry French officiating. Interment at Tallmadge Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Ted's family.
