Theresa G. "Ginnie" Harrison (nee Workman), 81, of Akron, OH peacefully passed away on March 1, 2020. She was born on February 18, 1939, and raised by her step-father George and Earthel Henderson.
Preceding her in death is her daughter, Alice Fay Harrison; grandson Christopher Adam Henderson; and brother, Thomas Henderson.
Left to cherish her memory are her children; Theresa (Steven) Miklic, Ray (Kimberly) Harrison, Robert (Elisabeth) Harrison, and Billy Harrison; grandchildren, Timothy (Bonnie), Michael (Jessica), Jessica (Anthony), Joshua, Misty, Robert Jr., Dustin (April); great-grandchildren, Timothy, Shaunna, Vanessa, Jack, Collin, Cayde, Isabella, and Steel; brother, William (Melanie) Henderson; Calvin "Daddy" Harrison; and several other family members and friends. She will be dearly missed.
Ginnie was a great rummy player, enjoyed crossword puzzles, watching cowboy shows on TV, and rainy weather and thunderstorms were her favorite. She collected watches, and her favorite color was purple. Her favorite way to spend her time was to be surrounded by her family.
Calling hours will be held on Sunday, March 8, 2020 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron from 1pm-3pm
