Theresa M. McGuinness, "Trish", age 68 of Akron, Ohio, died on October 26, 2022 at her home.
She was born on October 8, 1954 in Turlock, California, the daughter of the late John Morris and Mildred Stamps.
Trish worked in housekeeping at Edwin Shaw Rehab for many years in Akron. She enjoyed crocheting, reading and cross stitching.
Survivors include her loving and devoted husband of 48 years, Duaine "Duke" McGuinness, whom she married on November 17, 1976; her daughter, CaSandra (Paul) Stasiewski; her grandchildren, Jessica Kriston and Ayden Affolter; and four great-grandchildren, Landon Hall, LillyAnna Mae Hall, Kashton Blair and Kolton Blair.
Her siblings also survive, Rita (James) Krigbaum and Jim (Jackie) Morris all of California.
Other than her parents, Theresa had many brothers and sisters that are deceased.
Family and friends may visit at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 North Canton Road, Akron, Ohio 44305 on Thursday, November 3, 2022 from 5:00 - 7:00 PM.
Following calling hours, Trish will be cremated and will be laid to rest at the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Rittman, Ohio.
