Thomas A. Gintling, 92, of Akron, passed away May 3, 2013. He was born in Akron on February 26, 1921 to the late Bud Gintling and Maude Radcliffe.
Tom served our country during WWII in the Army. He as an avid hunter, fisherman and gardener. He was a bookkepper his whole career and a long time member of the NRA.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Bud; sister, Jean Richards.
Tom is survived by his sister, Madeline Campbell; nieces and nephews, Claudia Spohnholz, Kevin Campbell, Jeaninne Johnson, Mark Richards and Tom Richards.
A military service will be held at 12:30 a.m. Monday May 13 at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery.
