Thomas R. "Tom" Angerstien

Thomas R. "Tom" Angerstien, 77, passed away unexpectedly at home on October 14, 2024. Born in Akron, Ohio to Ray and Gertie (Pruitt) Angerstien, he lived in the Akron area all of his life. Tom retired from Chrylser, where he worked as an Electrician. He was also a U. S. Air Force Veteran, serving in Vietnam. Tom enjoyed golfing, fishing, bowling, bike riding and spending time with his family.

In addition to his parents, Tom was preceded in death by his siblings, Alice and Martha. He will be sadly missed by his wife of 56 years, Lynda; sons, Tommy (Michelle), Steve; grandsons, Austen, Blake, Tommy; great grandson, Maverick; siblings, Barb, Joyce, Ray; several nieces, nephews and friends. 

Per Tom's wishes, cremation has taken place. The family will have a celebration of his life at a later date. Those who wish may make memorial donations in Tom's name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
