Thomas Wayne Baker

Thomas "Tom" Wayne Baker, 64, passed away unexpectedly on May 14, 2023. He was born on July 20, 1958 to the late Carol Ann (Fitt) and Lester Baker.
He will be dearly missed by his wife of 44 years, Lynn; children, Heather (Brad) Galbert, Dan (Brittany) Baker, Hayley Baker; granddaughters, Layla Galbert, Bailey and Abby Baker; sisters, Jean (Vic) Hansen, Tina (Tim) McCrady and Sue (Lars) Andersen; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins; and a lot of dear friends.
Tom was an avid guitar player and loved jammin with his friends and granddaughters. He loved taking rides out on his Harley. When he wasn't at work, you would find him spending quality time with his family, friends and most importantly his granddaughters.
Cremation has taken place.
Service and Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, May 20, 2023 at the Kent State Hotel and Conference Center at 215 Depeyster Street, Kent, Ohio 44240. The service will be in the Erie Street Conference Room from 4:00 P.M. to 5:00 P.M. and the Celebration will be in the McGillvary Hall from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M.
He has been entrusted into the care of Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron, Ohio 44305.
