Thomas C. Caldwell

Thomas C. Caldwell, 94, of Mogadore, passed away on December 20, 2018. He was born in Butler County, PA on June 24, 1924 to the late Charles and Margaret Caldwell. Tom proudly served as a Medic in the U.S. Army and retired from Gulf Oil Corporation. He was a member of the Mogadore Lions Club, the Mogadore VFW, and the American Legion. In his free time he had many interests, including woodworking, golf, bowling, fishing, hunting, and tending to his vegetable garden. Everything his kids could break, he could fix. In addition to his parents, Tom was preceded in death by his sister, Eleanor. He will be dearly missed by his wife, Sara Caldwell; children, Karen Caldwell (David) and Wayne Caldwell; brother, Ernest Caldwell; sister, Hazel "Snooks" Caldwell; grandchildren, Abbey (Eric) Wright and Josh (Jill) Kuzak; great-grandchildren, Tristan, Kelsey, and Camden Wright, Cade Bonds, Claire, Kaia, and Ayla Kuzak. Per Tom's wishes, he will be privately laid to rest at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery at a later date. If desired, memorial contributions may be made to the Mogadore Lions Club.
