Thomas D. "Dan" Grubb, 59, passed away June 15, 2010. He was born in Coshocton, OH to Pal and May Grubb. Dan is survived by his loving wife of 41 years, Sherry; children, Thomas A. (Tammy), John (Tish), and Penny (Ed) Brown; 7 grandchildren; and mother, Celia May Grubb. Dan was a 32nd Degree Mason of Mt. Akra Masonic Lodge F & AM, a member of AASR Valley of Akron, Billow Chapter OES, and a supporter of Job's Daughters. Calling hours will be held Friday, June 18, from 5 to 8 pm, with a Masonic service at 6 pm, at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron. A funeral service will be held Saturday, June 19, at the Prairie Chapel U.M.C. in Coshocton, OH at 2 pm, with a visitation 1 hour prior, with Pastor Sue Tinker officiating. Interment to follow at Canal Lewisville Cemetery.
