Thomas H. Harmon
Thomas H. Harmon, 74, of Akron, passed away June 15, 2007. Tom retired from the Postal Service after 30 years of service. In his free time, he enjoyed fishing and gardening. Tom was preceded in death by his father, Taylor Harmon. He is survived by his loving wife of 23 years, Marilyn Harmon; mother, Helen Harmon; sisters, Christine (Thomas) Burns and Marilyn Heiselman; nieces and nephew, Cindy (Shabtai) Chassan, Terry (Mick) Albanese, Carrie (Lewis) Diulus, Brian Burns, and Renee Burns. Tom will be sadly missed by friends, family, and his beloved cats. Family and friends may call on Tuesday from 4-8 p.m. at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd. Funeral Mass will be held Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. at St. Matthew Catholic Church, with prayers at the funeral home at 9:30 a.m. Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery.
