Thomas Jefferson "TJ" Hagerman, Jr., 48, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, August 10, 2001. He truly was a devoted husband, father, son, brother, and uncle. Born September 2, 1952 in Akron, OH, he moved to Mogadore in 1991. He served in the U.S. Army, was a member of Arlington Church of the Nazarene, and enjoyed all sports. He was the owner of TJ's Cleaning and Window Service and was also a process server for private attorneys. Preceded in death by his beloved mother-in-law, Jacquie Sutter, Thomas leaves behind his wife, Ruth Ann; son, Bruce Thomas; mother, Beechie (Gerald) Simmons; father, Thomas (Vi) Hagerman, Sr.; sisters, Linda (Ralph) DiGiulio, Euna (Art) Hetrick, Pam (Walt) Pirogowicz; stepbrothers, George (Judy) Terhesh, John Terhesh; father-in-law, Frank (Rose) Sutter; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins; true and special friends, Bruce Slagle, Russ St. Clair, and Tim Gage. Friends will be received on Monday, August 13th from 4-8 p.m. at NEWCOMER-FARLEY FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., where funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 10 a.m. with Pastor Ed Morrison officiating. Interment at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Rittman. The family will receive friends following the service at the VFW Post #8975, 1649 Krumroy Rd. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the memorial fund for Tom at any First Merit Bank.
