Thomas Allen Jessel was born on February 23, 1951 in Barberton, Ohio to Annette Jessel and Dale Jessel, both of whom are deceased. Tom is survived by his loving wife of 18 years, Jacqueline S. Jessel; brothers, David (Sherry) Jessel, Paul (Patty) Jessel; sister, Claudia (Mark) Hawley; grandchildren, Ayden Custer, Landon Custer and Haley Dalton; step-grandchildren, Staci Lyn Bauman, and Tiffany Schindler; as well as many long-time loving friends.
Tom, a Vietnam Veteran who served his country from 1970-1972, was an avid Cleveland Browns, Cleveland Indians, Cleveland Cavaliers and Ohio State Fan. He always lived life to the fullest and enjoyed old time rock-n-roll. He was a very strong supporter of the Barberton Social Club, where he was a member for many years. Before retirement, he worked for Alcoa in Barberton.
Tom gives many thanks to the Cleveland VA and Summa Home Hospice for all the care, support and kindness shown to him and his wife during his illness.
Tom will be laid to rest at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery at a later date.
