Thomas Kilgore

Thomas L. Kilgore, 84, went to be with Jesus on July 10, 2005. He was born on January 1, 1921 in Atlanta, GA. He was a resident of Ohio for over 40 years. Thomas was the owner and operator of a roofing and siding business and was a member of Rex Hubbard's Cathedral of Tomorrow where he was an usher for over 16 years. He loved reading his bible and going to church. Thomas was preceded in death by his parents and all his brothers and sisters. He is survived by his loving wife Odie M. of many years; stepdaughter Earleen Ciganik of Shalersville; stepsons John R. Jameson of Akron, John Alan (Kathy) Jameson of Cuyahoga Falls, Darren R. Jameson of Akron, Wilford (Dale) Gibson of Arizona; and many step-grandchildren who loved him dearly. Calling hours will be Wednesday, 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Rd. Funeral service Thursday, 1 p.m. at the funeral home with Dr. Mel Grubaugh officiating. Interment at Rose Hill Burial Park.
