Thomas L. McDowell "Tommy"
Thomas L. McDowell "Tommy", 53, of Akron, passed away suddenly September 10, 2007. He was born July 2, 1954 in Akron, Ohio and was a lifelong resident. Tommy was a loving husband, dad and grandpa. He was an avid Browns, Indians and Cavs fan; loved fishing, playing drums and riding his motorcycle. Tommy was preceded in death by his mother, Elizabeth Wiper; brother, Joel McDowell; and step-mother, Wilma McDowell. He is survived by his wife of 31 years, Crystal (White) McDowell; father, Ross McDowell; daughter, Shanna McDowell; son, Cory McDowell; granddaughter, Adrianna McDowell; step-father, James Wiper; brothers, David McDowell (Charlene) and Martin McDowell; many more friends and family. A gathering of friends will be held at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Rd. on Sunday, September 16, 2007 from 3 - 6 p.m..
