Thomas O. Taylor

Thomas "Tom" O'Neal Taylor, 64, resident of Stow, OH, passed away on November 29, 2012. He was born in Akron on April 23, 1948 to Bob and the late June Taylor. Tom was a member of the Acker Moore Memorial Post American Legion (SAL). He most recently worked at Elbex in Kent and was an avid racecar fan.

He is survived by his daughters, Amy Taylor of Atlanta, GA and Jennifer (Rick) Hart of Uniontown, OH; grandchildren, Jacob and Jillian Hart; brother, Dave (Sharry) Taylor of Princeton, IL; sister, Sue (Frank) Williams of Brimfield, OH; a niece, nephew and stepsons. Tom also leaves behind special friend, Susie Mishler.

A funeral service will be held at 6:00 PM, Tuesday, December 4, 2012 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Rd, Akron, OH 44305. Friends may call two hours prior to the service from 4:00 to 6:00 PM at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Sons of American Legion, Post 175, 3733 Fishcreek Rd, Stow, OH 44224.
