Thomas Michael O'Donnell

Thomas Michael O'Donnell, age 76 of Akron, Ohio, died suddenly on June 25, 2023 at his home.
He was born on September 14, 1946 in Akron, the son of the late William Harrington O'Donnell III and Mary Ellen (nee Smith) Chelle.
Tom was a proud US Navy veteran serving during the Vietnam War.
He was a hard worker at ATT for 40 years. Some of Tom's hobbies were hunting, fishing and reading. Tom was a loving father, step-father and loved his four legged children, Angel, Chico, Bandit, Rio and Toby.
Survivors include his loving wife of 30 years, Debra, whom he married on May 1, 1993; his daughter, Tammy Jarvis; his step-daughters, Shelley (Joshua) Ferguson and Jessica Swords; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Other than his parents, Tom was preceded in death by his son, Yancy Alan O'Donnell; his brother, Fred Frashur; and his grandparents, Lillian DeGeorge and Charles DeGeorge.
Memorial services will be held at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 North Canton Road, Akron, Ohio 44305 on Wednesday, July 5, 2023 at 1:00 PM.
Family and friends may visit at the funeral home on Wednesday from 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Wounded Warriors Project by going to their website.
