Thomas Patton, Sr.

Thomas L. Patton, Sr., 78, of Akron, passed away with his daughter by his side December 16, 2011. He was born on December 30, 1932 to the late Thomas S. and Ethel Patton. He was preceded in death by his son, Thomas Patton, Jr.; brothers, Johnny and Lawrence; sister and brother-in-law, O'neal and TomEd.
Survived by his wife of 57 years, Rosalie; son, Jerry; daughter, Lori (Jeff) Hinds; grand-children, David (Allysia) Hinds, Chris (Whitney) Patton, Amanda (Stephen) Doyle, Tommy, Matthew, Tommy and Todd Patton; great-grandchild, Solomon Hinds.
Family and friends may call on Wednesday December 21 from 11-1 at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., where funeral services will follow at 1 PM with Pastor Ronnie Bauman officiating.
Inurnment at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery Friday December 23 at 2 PM.
