Thomas R. Stoutenborough, 67, of Cuyahoga Falls passed away November 13, 2004. He was born May 8, 1937 to the late Roy & Ruth Stoutenborough. After his retirement, Thomas was a volunteer and advocate for deaf and disabled people. He was a member of Boy Scouts, Solon JCs, Valley YMCA, Deaf Advisory Board for Cleveland Speech and Hearing Center. Thomas was the past president for Self Help Hearing, Lake County Chapter and West Side Chapter. He was a member of the former Lions Club of Cleveland for Deaf, NAPH of Akron, SCCEAPD, Cleveland & Akron CAC, and was a state traveler for RSC. Thomas is survived by his wife, Julie; brothers, Dr. Kenneth (Jane) Stoutenborough, William Stoutenborough; several cousins, nieces, nephews, and several great-nieces and nephews. Family and friends may call Wednesday from 4-8 p.m. at NEWCOMER-FARLEY FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd. where funeral services will be held at 7 p.m. Interment at Woodside Cemetery in Middletown, OH at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one's choice.
