Thomas "Tom" H. Skinner, 90, passed away on October 9, 2022. He was born on October 26, 1931 to Earl and Lucy Skinner.
In addition to his parents, Tom is preceded in death by his wife of 55 years, Bernice, 11 siblings and son-in-law Jim Bondurant.
Tom will always be missed by his son Tom (Vickie) Skinner; daughters Cathy Bondurant and Pat (Tony) Krysiak; grandchildren Brandon (Megan), Cory (Stephanie) and Shawn Skinner, Cara (Todd), Jaclyn, Nicole (Jason) Starcher; great-grandchildren Tristan Kundrat, Ciera Dean, Coby Dean, Madison Skinner, Austin, Gavin Kundrat, Bryce Skinner, Curtis Dean, Ethan, Breck Skinner, Nico Skinner, Jensen and Adaleigh; great-great-grandchildren Charlee Dean and Arabella Perry; brother Doug (Connie) Skinner; numerous extended family members.
Tom joined Masonic Lodge #803 in 1974 and was a 32nd Degree Mason. He was a proud veteran of the U.S. Army, and a member of the Mogadore VFW Post 8487, where he served on their honor guard. He was a Master Plaster with Local 109.
All are welcome to visit at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Akron, Ohio 44305, on Sunday, October 16, 2022 from 1:00 P.M. until 4:00 P.M. A procession will line up at the funeral home on Monday, October 17 at 9:30 a.m., leaving NO LATER THAN 10:00 a.m., for well-deserved military honors at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery beginning at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations in Tom's memory may be made to Masonic Lodge #803, 4395 Rex Lake Dr. Akron, OH 44319.
