Thomas D. Sommerville, "Tommy," age 46 of Akron passed away on Saturday, January 14, 2023. A lifelong resident of Akron, he was born on June 23, 1976 to Pamela Sommerville and the late Roy A. Taylor.
In addition to his father, Tommy was preceded in death by his grandparents Malvin and Willie Sommerville, Homer Taylor Sr. and Eva Taylor; aunts Maddie Pearl, Linda Carol, Linda Sommerville and Grace McCorvey; uncles Troy Taylor and Thomas Sommerville; 3 children.
Tommy will always be loved and dearly missed by his mother Pamela Sommerville; brothers Kevin (Karlissa) Sommerville, Brandon Caine, Darshon Cooper, Tremaine Lucas, Nicholas Spears and Thomas Anderson; sisters Pamela Jackson, Courtney Taylor, Rea Taylor, Leslie Lucas, Danisha Shealy and Shawntay Jackson; best friend Nikki Fitzgerald; aunts Deborah Kaiser, Karen (Anthony) Blackwell and Mildred "Cookie" Taylor; uncles Malvin Sommerville Jr., Homer (Betty) Taylor Jr., Jeff (Shawn) Taylor and John Townsend; special cousin Ebonee Taylor; daughter Shakirra Hardy; granddaughter Ava; a host of aunts, uncles, nieces and cousins.
Per Tommy's wishes, cremation will take place, and his memorial will be held on Saturday, January 28 from 1:00-8:00 p.m. at Exhale Hookah, 575 East Exchange St. Akron, Ohio 44306. To leave a message for Tommy's family, please scroll below.
