Thomas Howard "Tommy" Starcher, Sr. went home to be with the Lord on September 3, 2023 at the age of 65. He was born on March 11, 1958 in Cleveland, Ohio to William and Nancy Starcher. Tommy worked for Republic Steel for six years, owned and operated an interior demolitions business, TH Starcher, Inc., for 10 years before starting his own paint and stain business in the Cleveland Suburbs.
Tommy was known for his positive attitude, his hilarious sense of humor, his bubbly personality and his love of God. He wanted everyone to know how much he loved his family and what a wonderful life he had. He was an excellent dancer and loved throwing parties at his home. He will be deeply missed by many relatives and friends.
Tommy is preceded in death by his parents, William Allan Starcher and Nancy Gertrude Starcher (Stewart).
Left to cherish his memory is his beloved wife of 30 years, Beverly Klimp-Starcher; children, Thomas "TJ" Starcher, Jr., Wendy Gaynelle Starcher, Becky (Chuck) Busch and Justin James Klimp; grandchildren, Michael Bisson, Maybel Marena, Karryn Bisson, Tim (Shannon) Peterson, Ella Busch, Paris Keyes, Portia Keyes, Cameron (Laura) Lauter, Courtney Switcher and Tina Lauter; nine great-grandchildren; brother, Bill (Cheryl) Starcher; sister, LeeAnne Starcher; and several nieces and nephews.
Family and friends are invited to visit from 10am until the time the Memorial Service begins at 11am on Friday, September 8, 2023 at Newcomer, Akron Chapel. Big John Salem from Wild Horse Creek Cowboy Church, Telephone, Texas will officiate the service. Burial will take place at Standing Rock Cemetery at a later date.
