Thomas J. Suchan

Thomas J. Suchan, 83, of Akron, passed away on June 16, 2024. He was born on November 27, 1940 in Cleveland, Ohio the son of the late Otto and Frances Suchan. Tom worked many years for Capitol Builders and Supply. He was an avid race car fan and loved watching NASCAR. He enjoyed golfing and trying his luck at the casino's. Tom was well know for his bowling career. He was in the Guinness Book of World Records three times for being 1 of 3 bowlers to have a 300 game in 6 consecutive decades, achieving the most 300's 69 times, and getting the 800 series 47 times. He enjoyed going to Peterson Tournament in Chicago with his son, grandson and friends. He will be missed by all.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and sisters Connie and Carolyn.

Tom is survived by his son Mark (Jennifer) Suchan; grandsons Taylor (Alyssa) Suchan, Jason Suchan, and Benjamin Suchan; granddaughter Zoey Suchan; and nieces, nephews and many friends.
