Thomas E. Wroe
April 27, 1974 — June 3, 2023
Thomas E. Wroe, 49, passed away June 3, 2023 after an extended illness. Born in Akron, OH to Jim, Sr. and Cheryl (Krepps) Wroe, he was a lifelong area resident. Tom worked in auto repair and he enjoyed drag racing, bowling, playing golf and his video games and spending time with his family and his cat, Baby.
Preceded in death by his dad, Jim Wroe, Sr. in 2021, he will be sadly missed by his mom, Cheryl Wroe; brothers, Jim (Dawn) Wroe, Michael Wroe; grandmother, Billie Krepps; nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
Family and friends are invited to visit Thursday, June 8, 2023 from 5 to 7 p.m. at Newcomer, Akron Chapel, 131 N. Canton Rd. The funeral service will take place Friday, June 9 at 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Tom will be cremated after the service.
