Tilman (Gil) Gilpin
Tilman Gilpin, 90, of Uniontown, passed away September 20, 2010. He was born June 22, 1920 to the late Garrett and Ora Gilpin. He was preceded in death by his siblings, Martha Frye, Reva Eldridge, Ira Gilpin, and Otis Gilpin. Tilman will be deeply missed by his loving wife, Jessie; son, Dennis Wayne Gilpin of Texas; stepdaughter, Dee Caldwell; stepson, Tracey (Wendy) Caldwell; siblings, Susie Wright, Irene Craig, Josie Nolan, and J.C. (Jewell) Gilpin; and grandchildren, Andrea and Derrick. Family and friends may call on Monday, September 27th from 5-8 p.m. at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., where funeral services will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. with Rev. Jerry Justice officiating. Interment at Greenlawn Memorial Park with military honors provided by Mogadore VFW 8487.
