Timothy C. "Tim" Ahart, 60, passed away on December 14, 2013.
Tim was a graduate of Tallmadge High School. He had been employed with the Worthington Schools and was a high school baseball and volleyball umpire. Tim enjoyed sports and visiting Lakeside and the Amish country.
Preceded in death by his grandparents, Homer and Bernice Carter and Arthur and Dorothy Ahart. He is survived by his parents, Alfred and Colleen Ahart; brother, Thom; and several cousins.
Calling hours will be Wednesday, 5-8 p.m., at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron. A funeral service will be held Thursday, 11 a.m., at Tallmadge United Methodist Church, 207 N. Munroe Rd., Tallmadge. Family and friends may call one hour prior to the service at church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the church.
