Timothy L. Corrick, 74 of Green passed away on Wednesday, November 30, 2022. He was born in Akron on April 2, 1948, the son of Shirley {Shreve} Troyer and the late Charles Corrick Jr.
In addition to his father, Tim was preceded in death by his step-mother, 1 brother and 2 sisters.
Tim will always be loved and dearly missed by his loving wife of 57 years, Paula; mother Shirley; children Tim (Becky), Tom (Angie) and Tammy (Michael Miller) Corrick; grandchildren Emily (Scott), Ashley (Justin), Bobbi, Tommy (Kailey), Trey (Tessa), Madison (Joe), Seth (Hayley); great-grandchildren Lucas, Lilie, Andrew, Harper,Wade, Kori, Mariana, and a baby girl on the way; 1 brother and 1 sister.
Tim retired from Babcock & Wilcox as a master fitter after 34 years of service. 13 years later, he retired from Coventry Schools, where he worked as a custodian.
He was a member of Akron Baptist Temple for over 40 years, where he and Paula taught Sunday school to 8 and 9 year olds for over 30 of those years. Tim would also volunteered in the church office, worked funeral dinners, packed and delivered gift bags for shut-in folks, and golfed in the church league. The last several years of his life, Tim was a member of Maranatha Bible Church.
Tim enjoyed woodworking, golfing, fishing and camping. He collected coins and hats. Most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his wife, children grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Tim had a killer sense of humor, and could keep his friends and family laughing for hours. All who love him will miss him dearly.

All are welcome to visit at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Rd. Akron, OH 44305 on Friday, December 9 from 10:00 a.m. until the funeral service begins at 12:00 p.m., with Pastor Nate Kurcsak officiating. Interment to follow the service at East Liberty Cemetery in Green, where Tim will be laid to rest. In lieu of flowers, donations are suggested to the charity of your choice.
