Timothy L. Gansel
June 23, 1948 — April 18, 2022
Timothy L. "Tim" Gansel passed away on Monday, April 18, 2022. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ova and Donald Gansel, sister Donna and brothers Gordon, Dave and Jake.
He leaves his loving wife of 36 years Diane; sons Tony (Mandi) Leonard and Cory (Heather) Gansel; daughter Deanna (Jerid) O'Brien; six grandchildren Cory Jr., Carter, Caleb, Sawyer, Conner and Darrin Jo; brother Gary Gansel; many extended family and close friends.
Tim loved his family, friends, music (especially the band LaFlavour), and sports!
The family would like to give a special thanks to the medical team at the Cooper Cancer Center and the Hospice Care of Western Reserve.
Visitation will be held Sunday from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm, and Monday from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at Newcomer Funeral Home (131 N. Canton Rd., Akron), where services will be held Monday at 11:00 am with Pastor Amy Downard officiating.
Entombment will be held at Rose Hill Burial Park.
