Timothy S. Klesta

Timothy S. Klesta (SSG), 34, passed away unexpectedly April 24, 2017. He was born July 11, 1982 in Cleveland. Tim was a 17 year veteran of the US Army and was currently serving in the National Guard. Reaching the rank of Staff Sergeant, he served four tours overseas. Tim enjoyed being a loving husband and father to his wife and two children, the outdoors, cooking, was very hard-working, and always put his family first.

Tim is preceded in death by biological father, Raymond W. Klesta; grandfather, Richard Klesta Sr.; grandmother, Delores Klesta; and uncle, Jerry Klesta. He is survived by his loving wife of 6 years, Misty; children, Alex and Ashlynn; parents, Wally and Judy Zavada; grandmother, Pauline Kolen; brothers, Jordan and Landon; sisters, Angela and Jennifer; and many other relatives and friends.

Family will welcome guests on Saturday, April 29, 2017 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron, from 1:00-5:00pm. Funeral service to follow at 5:00pm. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to Wounded Warrior Project.
