Timothy M. Kittinger, 64, of Stow, passed away on September 25, 2024. He was born on September 14, 1960 to the late Ralph and Ida {Shriver} Kittinger.
In addition to his parents, Tim was preceded in death by his mother-in-law Ann Hickin and grandson Jeriah Colegrove.
Tim is survived by his loving wife, Jacki; daughter Sarah (Chad) Isler; step-children, Isaac (Tricia) Knight, Sarah (Tom) Fritz, Jessica (Josh Colegrove) Knight and Gabrielle Knight; grandchildren Jude and Stella Isler, Kaden and Zachary Knight, and Joshua Colegrove Jr.; brother Greg (Sandi) Kittinger; many nieces and nephews.
Tim always made everyone feel welcome and loved with his calming and steady presence. He had a special way of inspiring others with his extensive talents ranging from designing and building a coffee truck to baking a gourmet gluten-free birthday cake worthy of a Michelin Star. His creative ability to bring a project to completion was something to aspire to, and those who knew him well could see he did everything with excellence. He loved beauty and perfection, and he put thought and care into everything he did, especially for others.
When it came to spending time with his daughter Sarah, Tim always made sure the time was meaningful. They enjoyed bike rides, weekly meals together, and spending time at the farmer’s markets where Tim was selling his freshly roasted coffee.
After Tim met Jacki, family time grew. Weekly dinners eventually turned into lively family brunches with all the children and grandchildren. Together, Tim and Jacki found joy in every moment: riding bikes, traveling, and cuddling up on the couch for one of their favorite shows. For Tim, time with Jacki was always a happy moment; they could have fun just taking the trash out.
During family get-togethers, when Papa Tim wasn’t “doing all the work”, you could find him playing a board game with Jude or painting Stella’s fingernails. He would always ensure that he cooked everyone’s favorite foods including Joshua Junior’s smoked chicken legs. He loved to cuddle Zachary and talk about life with Kaden. For anyone who had the pleasure of spending time with him and his family, it was evident that he made sure to invest time and energy in special ways with each of his five grandchildren.
Tim was loved by his extended family members, friends, and neighbors. To know Tim was to have a reliable, trustworthy, and genuine friend who you could count on for support and accountability. Tim will be greatly missed by those who loved him.
