Timothy E. Selby

Timothy E. Selby, age 23, passed away suddenly Wednesday, September 19, 2007 at Akron City Hospital. He was born in Akron, Ohio. He was a 2002 graduate of Springfield High School. Timmy served in the Marines for four years and was discharged honorably as a Corporal, he served the country in Iraq for seven months. He loved to play sports especially golf and also loved playing poker and spending time with friends and family. Timmy was loved by everyone who met him and will never be forgotten. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Paul and Mary Jean Selby and Clarence and Barbara Jean Morris; mother, Vicki Selby; aunt, Pamela Tate; uncle, Don Selby; cousin, Wayne Lawson. He is survived by his loving wife of 4 years, Rachel (nee Miller); 2 daughters, Katelynn and Natalie; father, Richard Selby; brother, Richard II (Angela Bullock) and many aunts, uncles, nephews and cousins. Family will receive friends on Sunday, September 23 from 2-6 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N Canton Rd, Akron, OH and on Monday for one hour from 10 am until the service begins, Pastor Kim Lawrence officiating. Interment will take place at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery. Donations may be made to any Chase Bank branch in his name to benefit his wife and two children.
