Todd Patrick Brown

Todd Patrick Brown, 60, of Portage Lakes, passed away on October 16, 2024. He was born in Barberton, Ohio on September 6, 1964 and graduated from Hoban High School. Todd will always be remembered for his gentle ways. Even as a teenager, he was kind to the underclassmen in school, making them feel comfortable around the older students. He was very generous and often gave his possessions to others in need. He lived simply and was content with a quiet life.

In his free time, Todd enjoyed traveling. He especially enjoyed trips to Oak Island, North Carolina. 

Todd dealt with health issues for many years. Despite his challenges, he maintained an air of grace and dignity, gaining strength from his Catholic faith.

Todd is now reunited with his mother, Karen "Kitty" Brown; brother, Shawn Brown; and infant brother, Kit Brown.

He is survived by his father, Richard "Dick" Brown; nephews and niece, Eric (April) Brown, Danielle (Christopher) Weiss, and Kevin Brown; and many friends, including special friends, Robin Huthmaker and Jerry Chaney.

Family and friends may visit on Wednesday, October 23, 2024 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron, Ohio 44305.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, October 24, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. at Greenlawn Memorial Park, 2580 Romig Rd., Akron, Ohio 44320.
