Tracy L. McIntosh

Tracy L. McIntosh, age 49, of Akron, passed on Tuesday September 17, 2024. She was born October 30, 1974 in Greenwood, Mississippi. She moved to Akron at the young age of 14 where she met her husband Douglas Porterfield and shared three children with him. She obtained her high school diploma from Garfield High School and later obtained an associate degree in accounting.Tracy had a heart of gold and a smile that lit up a room. She was loved by many.

She is survived by her mother Leona McIntosh; children Tracy Porterfield, Oneisha Porterfield, Douglas Porterfield Jr.; grandchildren Talia, Ta'Niyla, Tra'Vone, Zay'Veair, Tayontae, Avhianna, Me'Seire and Tru; brother Timothy James; sister Daphane McIntosh; and in-laws Annie Porterfield, Randy Porterfield and Liliani Mathis; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. 

Preceded in death by her father James Scales; her grandmother Dorothy Ward and grandfather Hosea Ward.

Funeral Services are Wednesday 1:00 PM September 25th at Newcomer Funeral Home.
