It is with overwhelming sadness that we announce the passing of Tracy Zehnder, 60, of Randolph, Ohio. She fought a fearless battle with cancer for 3 years and passed peacefully in her home with her friend Lisa Varner by her side on Thursday, April 25, 2024.
Tracy worked for the USPS for 21 years, where she made many lifelong friends who continued to care and check on her until the courageous end.
She was always the "bonus" mom to the friend groups, nieces and nephews. Tracy was always willing to lend a helping hand and make sure everyone was taken care of.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Dayle & Jean Zehnder; brother, Dale Zehnder; nephew, Andrew Zehnder; father to her children, Brian Mervine, Sr.
Tracy is survived by her sons, Brian (Kim) Mervine, Jr., Damon Mervine; daughter, Jennifer Mervine; longtime boyfriend, James Mohan; siblings, Jim (Judy) Zehnder, Ken (Chris) Zehnder, Florence Zehnder (Mike Filous); many loving nieces, nephews, grandbabies and friends.
The hardest part of "Guya's" departure was leaving behind her most treasured times of sharing a Pepsi, a candy treat and cuddle times with her babies, Brysen, Hayden and Avery.
Per Tracy's wishes, cremation has taken place. The family will have a celebration of Tracy's life at a later date.
