Trina Sue Longshore

Trina Sue (Mars) Longshore, age 67, of Akron passed away on February 1st, 2025. Trina was born February 1st, 1958, to Donna and William Mars. She graduated from Manchester High School in 1977.

Trina owned a car parts business with her husband for many years. She was a tinkerer and loved to fix things.

Trina had a creative soul. Whether she was crafting, gardening, or exploring new hobbies, she found beauty in the world around her and shared it generously with those she loved. She leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness and creativity. She was a devoted mother, loving wife and a cherished friend to all who knew her. She enjoyed hiking, fishing, kayaking and all that being outdoors could offer. 

In addition to her mother, Donna, Trina was preceded in death by her husband, David Longshore. 

She will be deeply missed by her father, William Mars; children, Jonathan (Angela) Longshore and Marie (Richard) Coy; sisters, Connie (Gordon) Costlow and Sarah (Steve) Hall; brother, Jeff (Connie) Mars; beloved dog, Raven; as well as many cousins, nieces, nephews and close friends.

Per Trina's wishes, cremation has taken place and there are no formal funeral services. A Celebration of her Life will be planned at a date to be announced.
