Troy J. Burns, 46, resident of Akron, Ohio, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, October 24, 2013 at his home. He was born on July 12, 1967 in Akron to Larry and Pauline Burns. Troy graduated from Ellet High School and worked for EK Landscaping. He loved the Pittsburgh Steelers, spending time outdoors, camping, golfing and fishing. Troy is survived by his parents, loving wife, Paula Burton-Burns, children, Joseph and Sara, grandson, Max, 'fury' children; Angel, Belle and Tygie, brothers, Robert Fritz, William (Sherry) Fritz, Tracy Burns; sisters, Angie (Gary) Genetta, Paula (Wayne) Wagner, Lisa (Ritchie) Neal and Kim (John) Bornsteen; grandmother, Angeline Cambria, sister-in-law, Debbie (Russ), many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. Friends may call 2-4 pm on Sunday, October 27, 2013 at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd, Akron, OH 44305. A funeral service will be held immediately following visitation at 4:00 pm at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family c/o Huntington Bank, 75 Graham Rd., Cuyahoga Falls OH 44223.
