Trudy Marie Anderson, 62, of Akron, passed away April 27, 2011. She was born in Akron on September 23, 1948 to the late Carl and Delores Jonke. Trudy was a wonderful wife, mother, and grandmother. She delighted in taking care of her grandchildren and will be dearly missed by all. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother-in-law, Ed Duvall. She is survived by her loving husband of 44 years, Don Anderson; daughters, Lori Lowe and Traci Anderson; sisters, Mary Duvall, Judy (Harold) Brown, Cheryl (Jon) Short; brothers, John (Penny) Jonke and Ed (Lynn) Jonke; grandchildren, Kiersten Bushman, Mikey Moore, Donald Lowe, Brittany Moore, and Johnathon Moore; great-granddaughter Evalyn Rose Harris; sister-in-law, Susie (Ken) Warren; and many other relatives and friends. Family and friends may call on Sunday from 3-7 p.m. at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., where funeral services will be held Monday at 11:00 a.m., Rev. Mike Prebynski officiating. Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Trudy's family.
