Twyla G. Wagner, 82, passed away January 8, 2010. Her greatest love, besides her family, was her music. She was a church organist for over 40 years at the East Market Street United Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her husbands, George Pfeiffer, Bob Wagner, and son, Tim Wagner. She is survived by four daughters, Joy Wagner, Marilyn (Bob) Freeman, Nancy Pfeiffer, and Patti (Gary) Roth; two sons, J. (Elaine) Wagner and David (Judy) Wagner; 12 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; two sisters, June Christner, and Waldine Mazak; brothers-in-law, Lorin (Shirley) Wagner, and Gerald (Mabel) Wagner; sisters-in-law, Joan (Bill) Tyson, Arminta Belet, and Kathryn Pfeiffer; and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins. The family would like to thank the staff of Sunrise of Cuyahoga Falls and Crossroads Hospice of N.E. Ohio for their excellent care of our mother. Calling hours will be held Monday, January 11, from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron, where a celebration of life service will be held Tuesday, January 12, at 11 am with Pastors Debbie Rhinesmith and Ned Parks officiating. Interment at Hillside Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to East Market Street United Church of Christ, Alzheimer's Association, or Crossroads Hospice of N.E. Ohio.
