Tyler Michael Vaughan

Tyler Michael Vaughan, 22, of Akron, passed away July 13, 2017. Tyler was born in Akron, Ohio on June 22, 1995. He attended Ellet High School and was loved by everyone he met. His smile and laughter were contagious and lightened every room, unfortunately his struggle with addiction finally took its toll. Tyler loved music and his band t-shirts; Tyler loved with all of his heart.
Tyler will be dearly missed by his parents Kelly and Chris Kline, and father, Tod Vaughan; baby sister, Riley; girlfriend Ashley, their baby on the way,and her family; grandparents, Mama and Papa Hopkins, Grandma Penny Kline, Great Grandma Slota, Grandpa Jeff and Grandma Sheryl Kline, Grammie Peg and "Crampa" Ed Vaughan, and Gram Karen Jones; uncle Mikey and aunt Amy Hopkins, uncle Jeff and aunt Lique Kline, uncle Nick and aunt Kimi Kline, uncle Joe and aunt Kristen Kline, uncle Roby and Robert; aunt Jackie and uncle Jerry Elliott, aunt Michele Miller, aunt Tina Vaughan; cousins, Lauren, Luke, Connor, Patrick, Mikey, James, Nora, Winnie, Jenna, Jaycee, Nathan, Dillon, Allex and Addyson; life-long friends, Taylor Jones, Meghan McEldowney, Riley Shaw and Pooch; "brothers" Jeff Baer, Kyle Smith, Joe Madigan and Mitch Warren; and numerous extended family and friends. Tyler was preceded in death by his uncle Scot.
Anyone who is interested in attending, there will be a Memorial Mass before the funeral service, at St. Matthew Catholic Church, 2603 Benton Ave, Akron. Mass will be officiated by Tyler's great uncle, Father Daniel Ayers at 12:00 pm on Tuesday, July 18, 2017.
Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 18, 2017 at 5 pm with visitation to follow until 9 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Road, Akron. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Tyler's name to IBH, 3445 S. Main St., Akron, OH 44319.
